New York Loft by Studio Rick Joy

New York Loft by Studio Rick Joy

Lined with wide planks of Dinesen Douglas Fir that turn from flooring into cabinetry as they fold their way up the walls, this open loft is a city retreat.

A bed surrounded by thick, gray-and-black ceiling-height curtains defines a central sleeping zone that provides black-out darkness.

The intimacy of the sleeping area is contrasted with the diffuse daylight of the living and dining zones; each space is at once independently articulated from and cooperative with the others.
